VERMONT SNOWMOBILE VACATION

The winter brings a unique opportunity to view some of nature's awesome beauty.  The snowmobiling enthusiast will love Vermont, for here the snowmobiler can enjoy breathtaking vistas, clean country air, superb accommodations, and a remarkable, groomed snowmobile trail system that is one of the best in the country.

The snowmobile trails are groomed by local snowmobile clubs, members of the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST).  VAST is the non-profit association that maintains Vermont's trails network with more than 112 groomers working statewide. The VAST snowmobile trail is only a few hundred feet from the far end of our property. www.vtvast.org

Within Vermont there are more than 4,700 miles of corridor trails and 1,500 miles of secondary trails.  80% of VAST trails are on private land -- so be sure to stay on designated trails.

All snowmobiles not legally registered in another state or province must be registered in Vermont.  If you are already registered in your home state or province, you do not need to re-register in Vermont, but you must join a local club and purchase a VAST TMA. You must provide proof of registration.
